Jeff Magnum Makes Rare Public Appearences
Neutral Milk Hotel frontman Jeff Magnum made a rare public appearence last weekend, when he appeared at the Knitting Factory in Manhatten. Magnum was joined on stage by members of the Elephant 6 collective, the company that included Magnum's old band, The Olivia Tremor Control and The Music Tapes.The show was part of Elephant 6 Holiday Surprise Tour. However Magnum did not perform any Neutral Milk Hotel songs. Instead The Olivia Tremor Control on "The Opera House" and "I Have Been Floated", as well as Elf Power's "The Arrow Flies Close".
Magnum also made appearences as part of the tour, as he appeared at the Rochester, Pittsburgh and Coloumbus stops of the tour, with the last two stops seeing Magnum perform Neutral Milk Hotel B-side "Engine".
