Metallica announce UK dates

Metal icons, Metallica have announced their return to the UK with a string of arena dates next year.

The band, who's latest release 'Death Magnetic' got to number one in the UK chart in September, will be playing four dates announced so far.

Support for their 2009 tour will come from Machine Head and The Sword.

25th Feburary - Nottingham Trent FM Arena
26th February - Manchester MEN Arena
28th February - Sheffield Arena
2nd March - London 02 Arena
3rd March - Newcastle Metro Radio Arena
25th March - Birmingham LG NEC Arena
26th March - Glasgow SECC
28th March - London 02 Arena
