NME have posted a studio update from My Chemical Romance. In the article frontman Gerard Way says the band were close to breaking up last year, and the new album has been influenced by The Stooges and MC5.
My Chemical Romance's new album is set to be released in the spring and is being produced by Brendan O'Brien.
