Bayonets Break Up Message

A belated message from Bayonets concerning their split, which was announced last week, can be seen below.

"hi.

over the past 2 years we as a band have played countless shows up and down the country, packing up our little van to breaking point so that we can play the songs that we love to anybody that cares. from the soul-crushing no shows to the packed out rooms, i can honestly say that we've had a blast. we've written two great albums, the latest of which i couldn't be more proud of, met so many great people and shared our thoughts with so many of you. but it's run its course, we're all busy-bees with big things planned for our futures, and it's time to put this baby to bed.

as you have heard already, our next two gigs in London and Hereford will be our last. it was never planned as such, but the time feels right to say goodbye this time around.

the second album will still be released this summer. when or how? who knows. but you will hear it, and i hope it gives you as much pleasure listening to it as it did for us making it. its everything this band is about.

thank you to everybody that has helped us along the way.
come on down to a farewell show if you can, it's going to be really sad.. but as always, fucking fun.
