Time for some good ol' Sunday Home Cooking!

This past Sunday my Mom made Goulash, Garlic Bread, and a Cheesecake for dessert!

For those of you who don't know what "Goulash" is, it's similar to Hamburger Helper or the same concept. My mom makes her "Goulash" and adds more to it to make it that much better!

My Moms Goulash consists of macaroni noodles, hamburger meat, sharp cheddar and monterrey jack cheeses, onions, velveeta cheese packets from hamburger helper box, milk, water, salt, pepper, onion powder, and a little bit of garlic.

First you saute the onions with a little salt and pepper in a frying pan. Then you add the hamburger meat and brown it up. You then drain the excess oil off of the hamburger meat. In a large stock pot, put your macaroni noodles, sharp cheddar and monterrey jack cheeses, milk, water, velveeta cheese packets, and hamburger meat and onions on medium heat on top of the stove. Add your salt, pepper, onion powder and garlic to taste. Let this cook for a while so that all the flavors can really set in.

All those ingredients make for an EXCELLENT pot of Goulash! My mom never measures, she just adds to taste which always makes her meals the best in my opinion. My favorite part about her Goulash is how cheesy it is. I love cheese and this definitely is a good fix for my cheesy cravings!

We also had garlic bread to go with the Goulash. It's made by "Texas Toast" and you just plop the bread on a pan and cook them in the over for about 5 min or until golden brown.

My favorite thing to do when eating Goulash is to scoop my Goulash on top of my Garlic Bread and eat it like that. Man is that good!

Here's a look at my plate of delicious Goulash and Garlic Bread.

Now as if the Goulash wasn't already so flippin' delicious my Mom even made a homemade Cheesecake!!

Her Cheesecake consists of 2 8oz packages of Philadelphia Cream Cheese, 1/2 Sugar, 2 large Eggs, 1 tsp Vanilla, and a Graham Cracker Crust. You whip the cream cheese, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until well blended then you pour that mixture into the graham cracker crust. You bake it at 325 degrees for 40 min. Then let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.

I can not tell you how good this Cheesecake is. It seriously isn't possible to describe how good it is. In fact, after I ate it I couldn't stop talking about how good it was! Haha. This is one of my favorite desserts that my mom makes and when she makes it, it does not take long for my family to demolish it!
