July 25th, 2012: Bobby's Burger Palace (Paramus, NJ)

I recently went to chef Bobby Flay's burger joint called "Bobby's Burger Palace"! Yes, that is THE Bobby Flay off of Food Network that I am talking about :)

If you know me then you know how much I love watching TV shows about food and how much I enjoy a good burger. So when I found out that Bobby Flay had a burger Restaurant in Paramus, NJ I had to go!

When you first walk in you come up to a big menu board that has all the menu items listed out and what they have on/with them.

Every burger listed sounded so good and I would love to be able to try them all but I saw one burger in particular that I knew would be the perfect burger for me. It was the "Bobby Blue Burger". This burger comes with blue cheese, bacon, lettuce, and tomato. I am such a sucker for blue cheese so I knew this was the burger that I needed to get!

Next up I needed a good side item to go with this burger. I saw sweet potato fries on the menu and as soon as I saw that my mind was immediately made up that, that would be the side for me! The sweet potato fries came with a Honey Mustard Horseradish Sauce. Upon my reading of the menu, I noticed that the regular fries came with a "Bobby's Burger Palace Fry Sauce". Well of course I needed to know what the heck Bobby's Burger Palace fry sauce was so I added a side of that to go with my burger and sweet potato fries.

As soon as the food came out I couldn't believe the size of the portions! The burger was huge and looked oh so juicy! The sweet potato fries were in great abundance and looked so deliciously crispy!

I first grabbed a sweet potato fry, did a dip in the honey mustard horseradish sauce and bit right in. Holy crap was this fry delicious! The honey mustard horseradish sauce was so tasty with the sweetness of the potato. I then ate a fry by itself. The fries by themselves are extremely good but hey who doesn't enjoy dunking fries into delicious sauce!? Then I went for a dip into the Bobby's Burger Palace Fry Sauce. Since this sauce is listed to go with the regular french fries I wasn't sure how it would taste with the sweet potato ones. Well let me tell you, it is also friggin' rad with the sweet potato ones! I highly recommend getting both sauces to go with whichever fries you prefer!

Now let's dive into this amazingness that is the Bobby Blue Burger. Upon looking at this burger it absolutely amazing looking. The bacon is crisp, the blue cheese crumbles are plentiful and the burger patty itself is oozing with juiciness. I bite right in and my mouth is in BURGER HEAVEN! This burger definitely ranks up in some of the best tasting burgers that I have ever had the please of eating. The juicy burger patty in combination with the blue cheese crumbles/sauce and crisp bacon is shear burger bliss. So friggin' amazing!!

I would ABSOLUTELY return to Bobby's Burger Palace in a heartbeat! This burger and fries for the money is a 10 of 10. I would expect to pay WAY more for how good this food is. If you get a chance YOU NEED TO GO AND TRY Bobby's Burger Palace!!
