September 19th, 2012 (Houston's - Atlanta, GA)

I recently went with my grandma, aunt, and cousin up to Atlanta, GA to go see Brad Paisley and The Band Perry! The concert was great but my favorite part of the trip to Atlanta was getting to eat at a restaurant called Houston's.

Houston's is a "steak-house" like restaurant. They have steaks, burgers, chicken, salads, etc all to choose from.

First we ordered the Spinach Dip for an appetizer.

The Spinach dip was excellent! It had a great ratio of cheese-to-spinach. It also came with a side of salsa and sour cream. I pretty much just dipped my chip in all three at the same time, haha. It was very very good.

I've been to Houston's a couple times before so I already had my mind made up on what I was gonna order for my main meal. I ordered the Center Cut Filet and Loaded Baked Potato. I also added a Traditional Salad with Blue Cheese Dressing to come out before my meal.

The salad came out and boy oh boy did it look friggin' Amazing!! It had bacon bits, bits of corn, croutons, etc. It also came with a big slice of toasted bread with cheese on it. Their Blue Cheese dressing was absolutely amazing too. You could definitely tell it was home made.

Now let's get onto the steak and potato!!

When they brought out the entrees I couldn't believe my eyes at the filet and loaded baked potato. I was so pumped!!

The Steak had perfect sear marks on it. I ordered it to be cooked medium.

The Potato was seriously LOADED DOWN! It had tons of cheese piled on, with butter, sour cream, bacon bits, and chives.

This Filet was so tender that I barely needed to use my knife to cut it. It was cooked perfectly and had one of the best flavors Ive ever had from a steak. The Potato had plenty ingredients stuffed in it so I was super pumped on that, haha. I mixed potato up really good and I would take a scoop of potatoes then grab a bite of steak and eat it at the same time. This was so friggin' good!! I ate every bit of my meal and then preceded to finish off my Grandma and cousins' meals!

As if all of the above wasn't enough, we ordered the Key Lime Pie for dessert.

First off, the pie was huge! The filling was great but the real star of this pie was the crust. It was made out of an assortment of nuts. Man, was this pie great!

Houston's is definitely once of the best quality restaurants Ive ever been too. It's a little on the pricey side but I can most definitely say you get what you pay for. Nothing at Houston's is below Awesome. I guarantee you'll love anything you decide to order from there!
