October 24th, 2012 - Steak 'N Shake (Augusta, GA)

Recently in my hometown of Augusta, GA we got our very own "Steak 'N Shake"! Steak 'N Shake is mostly known for their "steak" burgers and milk shakes. Hence the name, Steak 'N Shake!

Being on tour I've eaten at my fair share of Steak N' Shakes across the country. It is delicious and fairly cheap. (They have a menu there called "4 meals for under $4!"). The burgers taste fresh and are incredible.

Steak 'N Shake has always given me a 1950s vibe. The way the decor is inside and the uniforms the employees where just give off that vibe to me. It's a great casual restaurant to sit down and have an excellent meal for sure.

I went with the Classic Double with Cheese Steak Burger and fries and a Peanut Butter and Banana Milkshake for the meal!

My burger was delicious! There's no frills with this burger (although they have some signature burgers to choose from that I would love to try!). Just a good ol' fashioned great tasting burger. You definitely get the freshness of the meat right off that bat. The steak burger is phenomenal in taste! The fries they serve are what I and Im sure many others call "shoe string" fries. They're skinny and boy are they fresh and crispy! I chose to dip my fries in ketchup and they were great!

My milkshake was the bomb. It tasted like fresh bananas and peanutbutter...exactly what I ordered! The shakes normally come with whipped cream and a cherry on top but I opted out of that because Im more fan of the shake itself. The shakes are of course made with real milk and ice-cream and they are BIG! Worth every penny in my opinion :)
