Donut Friend is the brainchild of Mark Trombino, a musician and record producer based in Los Angeles, California. Mark began his career recording and playing drums for the influential band Drive Like Jehu, but he quickly rose to prominence as a record producer after making multi-platinum albums for bands such as Blink-182 and Jimmy Eat World.

After 25 years behind the board, Mark was looking for something new to put his energy into when he stumbled upon a small donut shack in north eastern Los Angeles. There he had the good fortune to try a glazed donut filled only with fresh peaches - something so simple and delicious it made him wonder why nobody else was doing it.

It was at that moment the concept behind Donut Friend was born.
