Thirty Seconds To Mars Launching New Single "Up In The Air" Into Outer Space

Thirty Seconds To Mars have announced they will be sending their new single "Up In The Air" into outer space this Friday (March 1st).

The band are going to placing the track aboard a SpaceX rocket that will blast off from Cape Canaveral, Florida and dock with the International Space Station.

The launch is scheduled for 10:10 a.m. ET and fans can watch it live via NASA's official site.

On March 18th, the band will then visit NASA's mission control complex in Houston, where they'll conduct a live Q&A with Tom Marshburn, one of the astronauts aboard the International Space Station, and premiere the single for the first time.

"Up In The Air" is taken from the band's yet-to-be-announced new album and will be available through digital retailers on Tuesday, March 19th.
