Favorite July Beauty Product: LUSH's Olive Branch Shower Gel

Dudes and ladies, listen up. This is one shower gel I will continue to buy until the rest of ...forever. LUSH combines Organic Olive Oil with lemon, vine leaves, sea salt and fresh mandarin juice to produce this amazing Mediterranean-smelling shower gel. It's loaded with antioxidants and made to soften and freshen up dry skin. This is my FAVORITE smell that LUSH makes...which is saying a lot because I love them all. I wish they made it into a perfume/cologne. Go get some of this stuff and thank me later!

Favorite July Accessory: Violet Love Headbands

If you have any hair at all, you know that summertime can be BRUTAL for trying to keep locks looking anything besides poofy, sweaty, or straight up flat. Even dudes know this problem. So what's my fix for these situations? Throw on a Violet Love Headband! They're my favorite thing to wear when I want something different, besides just wearing my hair down/up, or when I'm in a hurry. I found Violet Love Headbands through my favorite lounge/yoga wear, Rebecca Michaels. They have about a hundred different prints, super comfy and go with everything.

Favorite July Clothing line: Drop Dead Clothing

I just recently discovered this line after visiting Vans Warped Tour. A girl was wearing a funny cat shirt and I loved it so much that I asked where it was from, and it was Drop Dead Clothing. After browsing the site, I fell in love with everything. It's not just a "Unisex" brand where every shirt fits both girls/guys, they make sure to focus on both female and male cuts, materials, and designs. The guys stuff is awesome, too. It's almost boutique-y with a funny, sarcastic play on the designs. I love it. If you haven't heard of Drop Dead yet, I suggest you go shop now!

Favorite July Drink: Vita Coco

To me, Vita Coco is a superhero. I'm not exaggerating. There have been times when I've been super sick, a lil' hungover (Sorry, Mom...), or straight up just thirsty and Vita Coco has come to my rescue. Coconut Water has a natural source of electrolytes, it's low on the glycemic index, (so it won't dramatically affect your blood sugar), and it's one of the most hydrating things you can drink. Compared to typical sports drinks, coconut water has less sodium, fewer calories, and higher amounts of potassium. Besides all of that goodness, Vita Coco is my favorite because of the TASTE. Honestly, I've had a lot of brands of Coconut Water, but Vita Coco comes out on top, with no competition. I always keep it stocked at my house and when on tour. My favorite flavors are Peach & Mango, and Pineapple.

July 4th's Theme Song:

This year's July 4th theme song is Bonnie McKee's "American Girl" because, it's too perfect. Not to mention the song is adorable and you'll be humming it for the rest of the month. I was asked while on Vans Warped Tour to be apart of the Keep A Breast "American Girl" response video also featuring 3OH!3, The Summer Set, Slade from Anarbor, Nick from For The Foxes, Go Radio and Forever the Sickest Kids. You can see it here:

Also, make sure to check out what Keep A Breast is all about. They're doing some incredible things! And head out to your closest Vans Warped Tour date because it's a ton of fun, and you'll discover some bands you love hat you don't even know yet. (This month's Mixtape is a little Warped Tour themed as well.)

My July Mixtape:

Queens of the Stone Age - "I Sat By the Ocean"
Wallpaper. - " Shotgun"
