ATP! Staff Picks: Jordan's Playlist (February 8th, 2015)

When I’m not evaluating integrals or modeling (Lewis dot structures that is), you can find me on my campus tuning out pedestrians and lip-synching for my life. If there’s anything I need to get me through the day, besides Starbucks, it’s a track that makes me feel like the superstar that I am. Between all the rainy days and misty mornings, Washington can be a little chilly on the soul. However, that has never stopped me from dressing like it’s the summer of 1983 in the dead of winter. I like to compare myself to Alex Owens, the main character in Flashdance. While many know her as another worker bee on the work yard, few of them know that she as a queen of the night seeking pleasure through the physical interpretation of song. While I may not fully be the dancer Alex was, we share a love for music that transcends the problems we face in our everyday lives.
