Taylor Swift and Kanye West Have Plans To Collaborate Together

In 2009, Kanye West interrupted Taylor Swift as she was trying to accept her award for Female Video Of The Year. (Yes, the famous "Imma Let You Finish" moment).

At the Grammys on Sunday — the same night Kanye teased a similar interruption of Beck — the two made amends, posing for photos together. And that’s not all. The Twitter feed for the radio On Air With Ryan Seacrest broke the news that the two of them are heading into the studio together. Kanye appeared on the show today, and he has more.

According to Kanye, Taylor posed the idea: “She wants to get in the studio, and we’re definitely going to go in. Any artist with an amazing point of view, perspective, fan base, I’m down to get in the studio and work.”

On the moment where he joined Beck onstage, Kanye says, “The voices in my head told me to go… What I really wanted to do was joke around with what had happened before, but I didn’t want to take away from Beck’s moment or the time he’s having to talk… It was kind of a joke, like the Grammys themselves.”

He also had nice words about Beck: “Beck is one of the nicest guys and one of the most respected musicians in the game. It’s nothing that I would want to do as a fellow musician, to disrespect him in any way.” And he pointed out that everyone becomes way more famous after he interrupts them.

And maybe this is what led to the coming Taylor collab: “Taylor Swift came up to me right afterwards — literally right afterwards — and tells me that I should’ve went onstage. This is the irony of my life.”
