Taylor Swift's '1989' Album To Be Available on Apple Music

Taylor Swift's open letter to Apple resulted in the global conglomerate changing its 90-day free trial policy earlier this week. Now, Swift has announced that her latest album 1989, will be featured on the new streaming platform.

"After the events of this week, I've decided to put 1989 on Apple Music...and happily so," Swift posted to Twitter on Thursday (June 25). "In case you're wondering if this is some exclusive deal like you've seen Apple do with other artists, it's not. … This is simply the first time it's felt right in my gut to stream my album. Thank you, Apple, for your change of heart."

Taylor's decision marks the first instance in which 1989 will be streamed for free since its October 2014 release.
