So last night I was sitting at my house waiting for the guys to get there for practice. And they got there, and sat me down and said that they werent 100% into doing the music thing and they didnt want to waste Josh and I's time. And we completely understand and respect both John and Justens decisions and wish the best for them. I wish there was more to explain, but its just as simple as that. There is no hard feelings between each other, no fighting, Music is just simply not for them at this point in there lives. John is playing the next 2 Michigan shows with us. So be sure to come out and support him in his decision.

Its for the best, and only the best is on its way.

- You Must be atleast 18 and out of High school
- Some tour experience/along with studio experience
- If your out of state, you must be willing to relocate
- (Drummer) - You must play to a click track live
- Obviously, professional equipment is needed.
- And good stage presence
- And willing to devote yourself 100%

We are a professional band, we take what we do seriously, and there is alot going on right now. We will miss John and Justen deeply, they are our best friends. But it will not affect SNS whatsoever. SNS is still the same band. You'll still hear the same songs. And even newer ones.

But, because of this minor setback, we have to cancel the tour dates on our page. But its alright. We'll have new ones soon, along with a new cd, and a pretty awesome announcement!

Album Review: Saturday Night Shakedown - Better Than Hollywood EP

Saturday Night Shakedown bring the catchy, poppy summer tunes with their new EP, 'Better Than Hollywood'. With these 5 songs being produced by Hidden In Plain View's Rob Freeman; previous work includes Hit The Lights and Armor For Sleep, the Michigan four-piece have a lot of potential.

Tracks like 'It's About Time' and 'Burning Bridges' are filled with power chords and hooks can be heard throughout. Add a guitar solo here and there and you're on to a winner. Whilst 'Night At the Roxbury' is more thoughout and stuctured and sees the band showing a bit of diversity, with fast-paced edgy guitars and gang vocals.On the other hand is 'This Is a Kiss (feat. Rob Freeman)', a track that is the band at their most poppiest, with strong vocal harmonies blending well and good structure.

For those who enjoy basic, guitar-driven powerpop bands like All Time Low, Saturday Night Shakedown may just well be your next favourite band. As they have successfully written addictive and instantly catchy songs that will harmlessly be played on repeat for awhile. Even though the band are not breaking down any boundaries, they are still able to show glimpses of originality and have plenty of potential.
