The Pretty Reckless have announced they will be heading out on tour this Spring alongside rockers Halestorm.

The Carnival Of Madness Tour is scheduled to begin at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN, on April 22nd, and will make its way around the US before coming to a close at The Great Saltair, in Salt Lake City, UT, on June 3rd.

The Pretty Reckless' new album Going To Hell debuted at #5 on the Billboard 200 chart this week with over 35,000 copies sold.

The band's latest full-length by far outperforms their 2011 debut album Light Me Up (via Interscope), which debuted at #65 on the Billboard 200 selling 8,686 in the first week.

ATP! Interview: Taylor Momsen (The Pretty Reckless)

In case you haven’t heard, Taylor Momsen is a force to be reckoned with. Gearing up to release her second full-length Going To Hell with rock metal group The Pretty Reckless, Momsen is throwing a dark, sinful masterpiece in the face of the world. For starters, the band released their “Heaven Knows” music video, which is sure to raise a few conservative eyebrows. But as for the fans, they’re bowing down to Momsen and the group’s clean, weighted rock, striking visuals and propensity for ruthless truth.

While Momsen continues to run down that Gossip Girl past, she’s moving like a badass hurricane on a world tour likely to leave a few scars from those who dare to enter the pit. The rocker spoke with Alter The Press about her relentless sound and the making of the new album, a process that endured some major turbulence. But while they tried, even a hellish tragedy, even an actual act of God couldn’t stop the Pretty Reckless from unleashing Going to Hell on the world.

ATP! Album Review: The Pretty Reckless - Going To Hell

There are certain things some of us do in life in spite of the fact that they may not be "cool." Rocking scene kid style post-2008, playing Bingo and liking reality TV, to name but a few. As of right now, we’re adding "listening to The Pretty Reckless" to that list.

Whilst it’s not quite to everyone’s taste, Going To Hell, the second studio offering from the band headed up by the aforementioned Momsen is actually pretty good. Admittedly, there are a few hurdles that you might find yourself having to forgive – we’ll get them over with first. Opener "Follow Me Down" begins with something that sounds surreptitiously like simulated sex. Okay, we’ll level with you. There’s nothing surreptitious this – it just blatantly is. We shouldn’t be surprised, and it’s not that we’re offended, either. If the intention is to shock (which, let’s face it, with a band like this – it very much is), then they’re going about it the right way. But throw sacrilegious lyrics into the mix throughout, and it seems awkwardly like a desperate attempt to win over new fans with outlandish displays of so-called rebellion. The problem with this is that despite the media’s obsession with the younger generation enjoying such quirky displays (see the UK version of Skins for all you’ll ever need to reference on that issue), in all honesty, it can get a little tired.
