Brand New Release New Album 'Science Fiction'

Brand New have released their fifth album Science Fiction. 

Following a pre-sale which ended up with some fans receiving a mysterious, limited-edition CD featuring one unseparated 61-minute track, the record is now available for digital download. Physical orders will ship in October. It is not yet available on streaming services.

Science Fiction is out via Brand New’s own label Procrastinate! Music Traitors, and is their first release since 2009’s Daisy.

Brand New Are Aiming To Release A New Album or EP This Year

Brand New have revealed that fans can expect a new release from them later this year, but whether or not it will be an album or EP is not confirmed at this stage.

"We have a new album to get. There is no secret," frontman Jesse Lacey said in a rare interview with the Spanish publication, RockZone. "The thing is that it is not ready, so to speak. Hopefully it out this year, at least that is our aim. We do not know whether it will be an EP of seven songs or so, or the traditional LP of 14 songs."

Brand New Debut New Song "Sealed To Me" in Los Angeles

Brand New debuted another new song at their show at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles last night.

The track, titled “Sealed To Me,” is the second new song we’ve heard from the band in the past six years following the live debut and subsequent release of “Mene” in the last week.

Both of these songs presumably will be on their as-of-yet unannounced fifth album.

Brand New Debut New Song Live in Denver

Brand New kicked off their spring tour tonight (April 8) in Denver, Colorado and treated fans in attendance to performance of a brand new song (that are assuming is titled) "Don't Feel Anything."

The New Yorkers debuted the song at the Fillmore Auditorium, where someone in the audience caught it and immediately put it up on YouTube.

Brand New Re-Releasing 'Deja Entendu' Album on Vinyl for Record Store Day 2015

The rumors are true: Brand New's Deja Entendu album is finally being re-pressed on vinyl!

As confirmed by the band, there will be an exclusive Record Store Day version on April 18th, that will be a double LP pressed on 180gram black vinyl, limited to 1,500 copies and comes in a limited edition packaging.
