Many foreign bands and artists will attest to the fact that it is hard to crack the US music industry. In fact, they’ll reach the top of the charts and sell out arenas in their home country, but still find themselves having to make their climb back to the top in America. Canada’s own Marianas Trench may be facing that very challenge now, having just signed to an American label after three albums, a few platinum certifications and numerous awards, but if we’re any good judge of things, they’ll overcome it very soon. The quartet is currently in the middle of their first US headlining tour as a part of The Noise Tour, powered by Journey’s and if all goes according to plan, it won’t be the last time we get to see them.The boys took some time to sit with us before their Dallas stop to speak with us about playing club venues again, their Face The Music EP and tell us if they may or may not have started working on something new.

The Canadian pop/rock quartet, Marianas Trench are currently touring across the country on their "Face The Music" tour and we were fortunate enough to catch up with the guys on the West Coast leg of the tour to record a new acoustic session.The band treated us to a stripped down performance of "Fallout," which is taken from their stunning 2011 album, Ever After.

With a steady beat, sweet harmony and electric feel, 'Desperate Measures' is a must have (if you don't have it already). 'Haven't Had Enough' has the same sort of vibe as 'Desperate Measures' - mainly a pop tune with catchy lyrics. It is very upbeat with a beat comprised of an electric feel within the music.

Marianas Trench Announce "Face The Music" EP; Signs With Cherrytree Records
Marianas Trench have announced they will release a four-track EP titled, Face The Music on May 14th via Cherrytree/604 Records/Interscope Records.The EP will feature four songs including "Desperate Measures" and “Haven’t Had Enough,” both of which are featured on the band third full-length Canadian release Ever After.
