Aquabats Split with Nitro Records

The Aquabats have parted ways with Nitro Records.

Messege from the band:

"Due to trying economic times and a struggling musical landscape, the Aquabats have been officially released from Nitro records. While fond memories remain, stark reality faces all of us kids... No record company, no record. That is right kids, although we have been hard at work trying to find the formula for the greatest album ever made....by the Aquabats, we now have no outlet in which to launch such treasured tracks as, 'The Moon is a Circle of Ghosts', 'Funky Doodle Dandy', or 'Dance Posse Girl'. Sadly kids, we don't know what to do. I think its time we all roll up our sleeves and decide to either pack it up and call it quits, OR by some miracle of hard work and perseverance ...we ... persevere! "

Heavy Heavy Low Low Part Ways with Ferret Music

Heavy Heavy Low Low have split from Ferret Music/New Weathermen Records.

The band released the following statement:

"So, interesting news... good and bad!? Depends on how you look at it I guess. We have come to a mutual agreement with our record label, Ferret Music/New Weathermen, to part ways and continue as an independent band. We've been on the label for years and they've treated us with a great respect and always let us do whatever the fuck we wanted artistically and we are so grateful for everything they did for us, even if we were little shit heads. As for us, we are writing. No telling when it'll all be complete, but it's gonna shit all over your face and party in it."
