Stone Sour Announce New Double Album "House Of Gold And Bones"

Stone Sour (Corey Taylor of Slipknot's slide-project) have announced they will release a double-concept album titled "House Of Gold And Bones", with part one dropping in October and the second next year.

Taylor released the following statement:

"I promised today you’d get the explanation to HoGaB. Well, today that’s exactly what you get. Got a lot of info coming- please retweet. The new Stone Sour album is a 2-part double concept album called House of Gold and Bones (HoGaB), parts 1 and 2. Part 1 will drop in Oct ’12 Part 2 will drop next year. 24 songs, 12 on each disc.
Each disc will include one half of the story- for lyrics, you’ll have to our site. Once I lock in the company who will help me put it together, there will be a comic book as well. Song titles include ‘Absolute Zero‘, ‘RU486‘, ‘A Rumor of Skin‘ and ‘Taciturn‘. Very excited for everyone to hear it! Stay tuned!! #HoGaBoctober12"

Corey Taylor Announces UK Book Tour

Corey Taylor (Slipknot/Stone Sour) has announced detials of a string of UK appearances in support of his new autobiography, 'Seven Deadly Sins'.

On the day of release (July 12th), Waterstones books will host, 'An Evening With Corey Taylor' at the London Relentless Garage. Ticket holders will be treated to an acoustic set from Taylor himself, a discussion about his new book as well as a pre-signed copy of 'Seven Deadly Sins'. Tickets are £25 and can be purchased here.

The following day (July 13th), Taylor will be signing copies of his new book at Waterstones, 24-26 High Street, Birmingham at 12.30pm and later that evening, will be performing an acoustic set and taking part in a book reading at the Birmingham HMV Institute. Tickets can be purchased here.
