Single Review: fun. - Walking The Dog

Everyone's new favourite band, fun. make their UK debut this week and to back it up the trio made up of Nate Ruess, Andrew Dost and Jack Antonoff, have given fans a sneak peak of what to expect with 'Walking The Dog', a light-hearted, summery indie pop number that quickly defines the bands quirky and well-crafted sound. Perhaps you could label them as The Beach Boys for the 21st Century?

The opening track from forthcoming album 'Aim and Ignite', 'Be Calm' backs this up with it's beautifully arranged brass and string sections, that sounds and backs up the bands indie pop guitars and strong vocals, think Panic At The Disco's 'Pretty. Odd. but done far much better.

With fans on both sides of the Atlantic quickly latching on to the bands irresistible sun swept melodies, fun. are certain to become one of the new bands of 2010, that everyone will be talking about.
