Frontman Adam McIlwee of Tigers Jaw has announced the band are currently writing songs for their next album.
McIlwee posted the following statement:
"blood man ep coming out soon. i’ll have those for tour on CD, then i think it will be available on cassette and vinyl after tour. that’s taking up most of my time…also writing new tigers jaw songs for a full length…
the first issue of my new zine will also be out this winter. i was hoping to have that done by tour, but i’m not sure that’s going to happen. matt seneca made a great cover for it though and i REALLY want people to see it…
i spend hours writing stuff for lust brigade and rarely publish any of it. hoping to have a piece about blaise larmee’s cruise, something about the new lakutis EP that’s out tomorrow and a year-end guest-blogging thing up in december."

Album Review: Diamond - Don't Lose Your Cool EP
Baltimore-Chicago band Diamond are the newest break out band on the scene. 'Don’t Lose Your Cool' is the band’s second EP and while they might not be everyone’s cup of tea take stock of the fact that they are thinking outside of the box and bringing something different to the table.
Alt-rock by definition but with soothing harmonies and foot-tapping tunes 'Don’t Lose Your Cool' is catchy and a good introduction to Diamond.

Live Review: Saves The Day + Young Statues - Southampton Talking Heads (11/22/11)
Main support tonight comes in the form of Alter The Press favorites Young Statues. Working with a tough Tuesday night crowd the Philadelphia five-piece had a job on their hands warming up the audience but did staggeringly well. Edgy indie with punk sensibilities Young Statues won over a few fans this evening and were ideal for the support slot.
It’s hard to fault Saves The Day. This time they’re back on these shores in support of their seventh studio album, 'Daybreak'. Although only being out a few months now tracks like 'Deranged & Desperate', 'Let It All Go' and '1984' were welcomed with open arms. Frontman Chris Conley’s unmistakable voice roars through classics like 'Third Engine' and lesser known gems like 'Sell My Old Clothes I’m Off To Heaven'.
