Albums That Changed My Life: Beau Bokan (blessthefall)

This week's "Albums That Changed My Life" contributor is blessthefall frontman Beau Bokan!

The band are currently out spending their summer on the 2012 Vans Warped Tour. All dates can be found here.

Metallica - Black Album

This was the first record that truly converted me to rock/metal music. Before then I had been mainly into hip-hop. I'd been dabbling in some rock here and there but once the Black Album got a hold of my ears, I was hooked. It was so huge and powerful. The lyrics really painted a vivid picture about what James (Hetfield) was singing about.

Oasis - (What's The Story) Morning Glory?

This record made me appreciate the softer side of rock and roll. There are some of the most timeless and epic songs ever written on this album.

Minor Threat - Out Of Step

Without this record I don't know if I would be who I am today. It taught me about the Straight Edge movement and that I could party without losing myself to drugs or alcohol. It taught me to believe in something and to stand by my convictions.

Blink-182 - Dude Ranch

This album was the soundtrack to my adolescence. So many awkward and amazing moments took place during the "Dude Ranch" era.
