Nickelback's Chad Kroeger + Avril Lavigne Are Engaged

Congratulations are in order for Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger and Avril Lavigne, who are engaged to be married.

Kroeger apparently popped the question on August 8th presenting Lavigne with a 14-carat diamond ring.
