Simple Plan Donates $10k To Philippines Relief Effort

Simple Plan announced last night (November 12th) at the 6th annual Simple Plan Foundation benefit show in Montreal, Canada that they have donated $10,000 to the Canadian Red Cross to help support the victims of Typhoon Haiyan and help contribute with rescue operations in the Philippines.

The band hopes that their modest contribution will inspire other artists and people to donate and invites their fans to join them and pledge money to come to the aid of the victims of this horrible tragedy. Donations can be made at www.redcross.ca.

Simple Plan have raised over $1.2 million since 2005, that is shared by more than 20 charities.
