Are The Academy Is... Reuniting This Year?

Did the pop-rock gods finally answer our prayers?! We're hoping so, because it looks like The Academy Is.. might be reuniting this year.

According to Bandsintown, the Illinois five-piece have two upcoming tour dates already planned, one of them being main support to Fall Out Boy at their sold-out show in London, England.

While at this stage nothing is confirmed, we are hoping (okay, REALLY HOPING) that this news is true and not Bandsintown just messing with us.

UPDATE: Bandsintown have confirmed this news is "false" and "came from a ticket feed, which we are evaluating." Thanks for ruining our day, guys...
