Lower Definition Not Splitting Up

Lower Definition have stated they are not splitting up but there future is not 100% sure after 2 members recently left.

The band posted this messege:

"A lot of people have been talking about the end of Lower Definition, and we want to clear the air on a few things.

First of all, the future of Lower Definition is not 100% clear yet. After 2 members of our band quit basically back to back within a months time we, as the remaining members, have taken some time of think about what exactly our future is going to entail. We could not express through words how difficult it is to slow down the one thing that we have put our all into for over 7 years. We want to thank all of you, our amazing fans, the ones that have been supporting us since our first show, and the ones we just gained. I know a lot of you don't want this to be the end of the road for us and we want you all to know, that we don't want to give up on music either.

This recent loss for the band was significantly different because we lost two of our oldest members and people who have basically built this band and watched it become what it is. After Tino and Stefan quit we opened our eyes and realized we still had a long way to go. We understand that from a fan's standpoint it's difficult to comprehend why someone would want to leave a band that's touring and on a record label. However, success isn't always measured the same by everyone.

Why don't we just get a new drummer and a new bass player and continue doing what we're doing? It wasn't that easy this time. We really needed to regroup and get on the same page as far as our common goals were concerned. The whole concept of our last album "The Greatest of All Lost Arts" was simply to write real, honest, from the heart music and defend it to the death. We realized that for some people, other aspects of this music industry were more enticing.

It's honestly a misfortune that we slaved over this last record for months and handcrafted every topic discussed in it just to have it not catch as well with the masses. We didn't expect to sell a million copies or go platinum but our individual views on success obviously weren't in sync. We wish everyone appreciated our music as much and understood it as well as all of you reading this. You are who we owe this record to and who we appreciate so much because you love our music. You are the reason we don't want to quit music we just need some time to really get it right this next time. We want to stay true to ourselves and you guys, so we won't be compromising any of our values and beliefs on this next try.

We don't know who is going to be in this band, or when we're going to start making our "comeback", or even if we're going to go by the name Lower Definition but we can guaranteeeeeee you this new venture WILL be sleepless nights, sore fingers, sore throats, blistered hands, headaches and utter chaos for us.. and in the end we hope it's going to be something you and a million more people will appreciate. We realize that as artists our music is just a drop in the ocean but we do it all for you. Thank you for everything and we really hope you'll be back here when we are."
