Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley was recently hospitalized as a result of alcohol abuse.The Canadian native has now been discharged and TMZ has released a photo of him looking shockingly frail, days after admitting he nearly died from years of hardcore drinking.
Last week, Deryck revealed through his online blog that "the reason i got so sick is from all the hard boozing i’ve been doing over the years. it finally caught up to me."

Sum 41 have been forced to drop out of their UK tour alongside New Found Glory next month due to frontman Deryck Whibley injuring his back.Whibley made the following statement:
"I feel really terrible about letting down the fans. I injured my back and the doctors are saying that I could be in a wheelchair. So, as much as I wanted to be able to do it, I've got to look at reality, and for the first time I've got to listen to somebody else and not just myself. We're all really upset about this; we've had such a great relationship with our UK fans. We were really looking forward to this tour."
The Blackout will replace Sum 41 on the upcoming tour.
