Hot Topic Releasing Disney Soundtracks On Picture Disc Vinyl

Hot Topic will be releasing Disney soundtracks on limited edition picture disc vinyl starting this year.

As of right now, the retailer plan on stocking The Little Mermaid and The Lion King on April 29th in stores and online from May 6th.

More information on additional Disney releases is yet to be confirmed at this stage.

Blink-182 Release Statement Regarding "TOYPAJ" Vinyl Issue

Blink-182 have released a statement regarding the delay of the band's "Take Off Your Pants And Jacket" Mightier Than Sword Records vinyl release.

"It has been brought to our attention that there are copies of the blink-182 catalog on vinyl that have been preordered and the orders have not been fulfilled. Although this is not a release that we have any control over we are currently trying to rectify the problem. In the meantime we ask that if you are wanting to buy any blink-182 vinyl that you should consider not purchasing from MTS records and or SRC records until this issue is resolved. In addition to this we would suggest asking for a refund from the point of purchase if you have not received your order.

Mark Hoppus To Investigate "TOYPAJ" Vinyl Release Issue

Mark Hoppus has announced he is aware the recent delay of the vinyl reissue of Blink-182's "Take Off Your Pants And Jacket" album via Mightier Than Sword Records and will investigate the problem, personally.

Hoppus released the following statement:

"reading through the ask me anything section of this here tumblr thing, i see many of you are concerned about the delay in the mightier than sword release of take off your pants and jacket. i will look into it today and come back with an answer as soon as possible.

i’m terrific."

Sum 41 To Release "All Killer, No Filler" Album On Vinyl

Asbestos Records have announced they will be releasing Sum 41's "All Killer, No Filler" album on vinyl this Summer.

No further details have been released at this stage.

Tegan and Sara To Release "Get Along" Live Album On Vinyl

Tegan and Sara will release their "Get Along" live album on white vinyl exclusively for Record Store Day (April 21st).

Tigers Jaw Self-Titled LP + Fireworks "We Are Everywhere" EP Vinyl Pre-Orders

Run For Cover Records have started taking pre-orders the release of Fireworks' "We Are Everywhere" EP and leftover copies of Tigers Jaw's self-titled album first pressing.

The label posted the following message:

"Another reissue hint for you today..."I'm proud of my life and the things that I have done. Proud of myself and the loner I've become."

Moving Mountains "Foreword" EP To Be Repressed On Vinyl For Record Store Day

Moving Mountains' "Foreword" EP will be repressed on vinyl by Topshelf Records.

The repress will be released on Record Store Day (Saturday, April 21, 2012).

Fireworks "We Are Everywhere" EP Vinyl Repress Announced

Fireworks' long awaited vinyl repress of their "We Are Everywhere" EP will be released on March 13th through Run For Cover Records.

The 12" will be accompanied with an acoustic flexi. The artwork for the record can be found here.

Sainthood Reps To Release Debut Album "Monoculture" On Vinyl

Mightier Than Sword Records have released a video giving an update to fans on the current status on the vinyl repress of Blink-182's 'Take Off Your Pants And Jacket' they are releasing.

Glamour Kills Tour Bands To Release Covers Vinyl

The bands set to perform on this years Glamour Kills Tour (The Wonder Years, Polar Bear Club, Transit, The Story So Far, A Loss For Words, and Into It. Over It) will be a part of a limited edition covers 12” compilation released by the clothing line.

Each band on the tour will be covering a song by one of the other bands on the tour.

- The Wonder Years covering Into It Over It’s “Anchor”
- Polar Bear Club covering Transit’s “Skipping Stone”
- Transit covering Polar Bear Club’s “Resent and Resistance”
- The Story So Far covering A Loss For Word’s “Wrightsville Beach”
- A Loss For Words covering The Story So Far’s “Quicksand”
- Into It Over It covering The Wonder Year’s “Don’t Let Me Cave In”

The release will consist of two songs, 'Anthology' and 'Promises', both which were recorded at Guitar Center last summer and will be limited to only 2,000 copies.
