ATP! Album Review: The Wonder Years - The Greatest Generation
The album is, to quote vocalist Dan "Soupy" Campbell, “the third piece in a trilogy about growing up.” It is entirely possibly for some of those who have been with The Wonder Years since the beginning, but particularly when the trilogy began with The Upsides (2010), to be a bit skeptical about whether or not the band can continue their winning streak of killer hooks, blood-pressure-spiking riffs, and heart-wrenchingly honest lyrics with The Greatest Generation. And let’s be real: all of us in life have been let down by people we trust and love, mostly because we set unrealistically high expectations for them and we get crushed when those expectations are smothered. We can psychoanalyze each other another time; regardless, any fan of The Wonder Years - whether it’s since their inception or when the band released their latest single from this record- has nothing to worry about.

The Wonder Years "A Year As A Ghost" Book Release Date Pushed Back
The Wonder Years' upcoming new book "A Year As A Ghost" has been delayed. A statement from the band can be read below."Just wanted to say that we’re super appreciative of your patience waiting for this book. Trust me, we’re on the edge of our seats waiting too. Books aren’t a thing bands commonly make so there really wasn’t a format or time table to follow in regards to this. When we do a cd or a tshirt it’s pretty easy to predict when we’ll have them for you. People do them all the time. It’s like clockwork. This was kind of a shot in the dark. The books ARE done and ARE on their way on a boat (what year is it?) from China. We really tried to do something special with this book and a ton of sleepless nights went into it. We really think you’re going to love it. The wait is still a bit longer but there’s a light at the end of the tunnel now. No one fucked up. No one missed a deadline. It just turns out that this is how long these things take. We’ll see you this fall with Yellowcard. I hope all of your lives are awesome and that everything is going your way."
