Green Day and Harmonix/MTV Games are joining together to produce a new Rock Band video game called 'Green Day: Rock Band'.

No Doubt Sue 'Band Hero' Game Creators

No Doubt are taking legal action against Activision, the creators of 'Band Hero' for failing to sticking to their agreement of just performing three No Doubt songs where now the band can now sing, dance and perform over sixty tracks.

Dashboard Confessional Track To Be Included on Band Hero Computer Game

Dashboard Confessional’s song “Hands Down” is to be included on the forthcoming 'Band Hero' computer game, which is released on November 3rd.

Dashboard Confessional's new album, 'Alter The Ending' is out November 10th on Vagrant Records.

Thursday to take part in Xbox Live Session

Thursday will be playing Call of Duty: World at War on Xbox 360 Live on March 21st between 2PM - 4PM (CST). The bands gamertag will be Thursday GWF.

Weezer release Christmas game for the iPhone

Weezer are set to release a game exclusively for the iPhone/iTouch called, 'Christmas With Weezer'.

The game is a revamped version of the classic 'Tap Tap Revenge' in which users tap and shake their devices to the tunes of the music.The band recorded six Christmas tracks such as 'Silent Night', 'We Wish You A Merry Christmas' and more which were recorded exclusively for the game.

Frontman Rivers Cuomo put out the following statement:.

'I agreed to do these special recordings for the game because I am a fan of each of the songs. The melody and vocal lines are incredible and it was fun to sing them'.

The Offspring, Against Me! tracks added to Rock Band game

California pop punk legends, The Offspring as well as Florida's own Against Me, have contributed tracks which are due to appear online next week available to download on the ever popular game, Rock Band.

The Offspring tracks submitted are: 'Gone Away', 'Pretty Fly for a White Guy' and 'Self Esteem' as well as Against Me's 'Stop'.
