Glassjaw frontman Daryl Palumbo has announced he has started a new band with Richard Penzone called Color Film.

Head Automatica To Announce UK Tour

Head Automatica (Daryl Palumbo of Glassjaw's side-project) will be announcing details of a UK tour shortly, with a pre-sale starting this Tuesday (June 20th).

Head Automatica "Decadance" Vinyl Release Details

Head Automatica's debut album, 'Decaydance' will be released on limited edition (1500 copies) blue/green colored vinyl on August 9th exclusively at Hot Topic.

Hot Topic will be doing an exclusive limited edition vinyl pressing of Head Automatica's debut album, 'Decaydance' at some point in the near future.

No further information has been announced yet at this stage.

Head Automatica have announced they will headline the Music Hall Of Williamsburg in New York on October 20th.

Support comes from Innerpartysystem, Yak Ballz and Neon Hitch.

Head Automatica limited t-shirts available

Head Automatica last week made their live return after a short string of shows on the east coast. The band were selling an limited edition shirt (only 200 produced) which are now available for people who couldn't make it out to the shows.

The band put out the following blog:

'Hello everyone,thanks to all who came to the shows this weekend, it was blast!!! We made some pretty righteous hand made tees for the shows and still have some left over. we only made about 200 of them total. each shirt was designed and hand screened by the members of the band. The color of the image varies from shirt to shirt making each one totally unique. Each shirt is numbered on the tag as well. They're all printed on american apparel whiteWe've put them up for auction of ebay. unfortunately you can't make a "buy it now" for multiple items on ebay, but $30 will get you a shirt. hurry hurry hurry, there are only so many of these available. mens sizes: small and medium. Head Automatica's new record is due out this year on Warner Records.

Head Automatica on Jay Leno

Head Automatica appeared earlier this week on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

The band were on a skit entitled, 'Christmas To Your Door' which saw Leno knocking on the bands apartment door unexpectedly and bringing holiday cheer to their un-Christmas like apartment.

Head Automatica post studio/tour update

Head Automatica have posted a statement about the current development of their third studio album as well as details of some upcoming shows in the US.

"Hi. We are playing a couple shows in January.

Well.. 3 shows actually. We haven't played any shows in quite some time and our new record is getting closer and closer to being finished, so we thought, "hey! let's book a couple shows!" you know, shake things up a bit. play a few new songs. see a few old friends. have a few laughs. there is a band called Radio 4 that will be joining us to play these 3 shows. they are a band from New York that we like very much. hopefully you already like them too. so until then...we will be hard at work in The City Of Angels(I didn't find it to be that exactly).

Head Automatica have begun pre-production in NYC

Daryl Palumbo's Glassjaw side project, Head Automatica, have begun pre-producation for their next album at Brothers Studio in Brooklyn, NY.

The band have so far been documenting there progress on their Myspace page which can be seen at www.myspace.com/headautomatica for the latest updates.
