Simple Plan Confirm New DVD + EP Plans In 2012

Simple Plan have confirmed in a recent interview with Canadian music station, Hot 103 they are planning to release a new DVD and a collection of new songs which didn't make the band's recent album, "Get Your Heart On".

An excerpt from the interview can be found below:

"Pierre Bouvier (vocals): Well, I think that this year we’ll put together a DVD.

Chuck Comeau (drums): There is a lot of stuff coming in 2012, it’s our [10th anniversary], so what I’d like to do this year is to have some new songs that didn’t make this last record come out for the fans. Make them wait for the next record. Because they’re impatient, they want a new album, so maybe we’ll release some new songs this year."

All Time Low To Release New DVD

All Time Low have confirmed in a recent interview they are working on a follow-up to their, 'Straight To DVD' release.

Simple Plan To Release Mini-Album + New DVD?

Earlier this month, it was reported Simple Plan were planning to release a new EP and DVD later this year. Front man Pierre Bouvier has revealed in a recent interview the DVD will possibly feature some unreleased songs and hopefully they will be able to package together a mini-album with the DVD.

Bouvier commented:

"I think it’ll be a DVD containing a material of the choice of our fans. If possible, we’ll also release some songs that we never released before, because we know our fans want more and more. If possible, we’ll make a mini-album with the DVD in the next tour and I hope we finish it soon."
