Alter The Press! Presents: What Now

South African trio, What Now have quickly settled into their new home in London and working hard back home for the five years. The upbeat rock group are set to unleash their new EP, 'Take Control' next month and includes some of the best as the band take US pop-rock style of All Time Low and Every Avenue and mix it with an earthly, mature sound that comes together brilliantly, as 'Take Control' is a superb debut and sets the mark for better things to come for What Now.

For Fans Of: All Time Low, Jimmy Eat World and Every Avenue.

Alter The Press: Why should Alter The Press! readers check you out?
What Now: Because Alter The Press! is freaking awesome and we love to meet new people and share some love with fellow followers! We have a lot of exciting things happening in the What Now camp and we want people to know about them. We believe we write great songs and we try to avoid being part of a scene or being pigeon holed and focus more on delivering the best music we can.

ATP: What's the story behind the band?
WN: We grew up in a small coastal town called Ballito in sunny South Africa where the band was born. We toured our asses off in SA, got play-listed on all major radio stations around the country and raised enough money to move our band to London. Five years later and slightly more British, we are finally clawing our way up through the industry and doing what we love. We've embraced the change in the industry and we now do all our own recording, producing, artwork and pretty much anything we can get away with!

ATP: Single highlight as a band so far?
WN: It's hard to answer that because there have been so many, but I think the most recent highlight that we’ve been excited about was shooting our first music video. Another favourite part that's always a highlight is playing live.

ATP: What are your plans for the 12 months?
WN: We plan on touring the UK and Europe until the end of the year, and then early next year we will be doing our first headline tour and after that it's festival season. We will be releasing our EP titled "Take Control" on the 15th of November, so please get it when it's out. We also shot a music video for the first single "Toy Soldiers" and we think you should stop reading this and go watch it NOW!!!

'Take Control' EP by What Now is released on November 15ht through Yoyo Acapulco.
