Alter The Press! Presents: Autumn In Disguise

Since forming in early 2010, Aberdeen's Autumn In Disguise have made a decent impression both in Scotland and throughout the UK. Having played shows with Four Year Strong, Deaf Havana, Not Advised, Me Vs Hero, Tiger Please and A Loss For Words, the sextet have been winning over fans with their brand hardcore/pop-punk.

After releasing their debut EP, 'See Me In Terror' last year, Autumn In Disguise have high hopes for the coming 12 months, with plans for more tours and new material in the works.

For Fans Of: Four Year Strong, A Day To Remember and You Me At Six.

Autumn In Disguise: Alter The Press! readers should check out Autumn In Disguise out if they want to listen to new and exciting music from a group of guys who love every bit of of what they do. Together with our highly energetic, crowd pleasing performances, we try our best to make everyone enjoy the music as much as we do.

ATP: What's the story behind the band?
AID: We Formed in January 2010 and played our first show in March.
After recording our own take on Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance", we soon discovered a local Scottish fanbase for AID. Given all our differences and similarities in music taste, we have formed a fresh Pop Punk sound with a Hardcore edge that delivers an exciting mix to our set. We recorded our first EP 'See Me In Terror', and video for same titled single 'See Me In Terror (S.M.I.T.),' which has now seen over 33,000 youtube views!

Although we're unsigned, we have had a busy year, played some amazing packed out shows around the UK, sharing the stage with some great bands, having the best time and doing it all on our own.

After a few member changes and some hard work we are hitting hard in 2011. With lots more plans for this year we aim on reaching out even further.

ATP: Single highlight as a band so far?
AID: Despite playing sold out shows in some great venues giving us the chance to meet some brilliant fans. However as a band and inspirational highlight, it would have to be playing alongside Four Year Strong in an acoustic gig. We were able to talk and socialise with some amazing musicians but at the same time they were really friendly and down-to-earth guys.

ATP: What are your plans for the 12 months?
AID: We have a few great gigs set for this year and a few more tours for sure! We are very excited to get writing and recording our new EP, single and video. Then we are going to get back out on the road, and share it with the amazing people we have met so far and hopefully lots more!
