ATP: What's the story behind the band?
MAIT: Chris, Matt and Josh (Mason) have been playing in bands and writing music together for many years. After dissolving previous band, Say Vandelay, My Aim Is True was formed in January 2010 and released a powerful 5-song EP last May. Hailing an extremely catchy "pop rock with balls" sound that has captured the hearts of fans all around the world. Continuous writing keeps the band's sound fresh and the listener craving more.

ATP: Single highlight as a band so far?
MAIT: Aside from sharing the stage with several amazing major acts and insane parties brought on after every show. We have an amazing fan from Texas, Jenna Morey, who started a MAIT Fans (@MAITFans) twitter revolution last year and now we have fans from not only all over the US who run fan accounts for their states, but also have them in several different countries such as Japan, Spain, Chile, Scotland and Canada. The love and support we receive from our fans is amazing and priceless. Without them we would be nothing.

ATP: What are your plans for the 12 months?
MAIT: We are currently writing for a new EP to be released by Summer 2011, touring the Northeast area in the Spring and working on a MAIT clothing line to expand our merch selection. A special acoustic version of our radio single, '7 Seconds,' will be available on iTunes soon!
