Based out of Milan, Italy, Notimefor have played countless shows throughout mainland Europe; Italy, France, Austria, Germany, Russia and more since forming five years ago in 2006.

Now in 2011 the five-piece have shared the stage with the likes of Set Your Goals, Mayday Parade, Twin Atlantic, Enter Shikari, We Are The Ocean, and The Ghost Inside. Whilst their latest EP, 'Happy Youth' was recorded and produced by Bertrand Poncet of Chunk! No, Captain Chunk. 'Happy Youth' is a bright, fast and bold collection of pop punk songs that has seen the Notimefor be compared to bands such as Set Your Goals and Man Overboard. With a combination of well-crafted songs and a positive attitude, Notimefor are worth checking out.

For Fans Of: NOFX, Transit, Title Fight, Man Overboard, and Set Your Goals.

Alter The Press: Why should Alter The Press! readers check you out?
Notimefor: Because we are young and fresh! Well, we don't like self-appraisal therefore we don't agree with having one of those bios that fishes for compliments. So to put it simply, ATP readers should check us out because we have something to say, we are from milan and we are trying to break barriers with our music!

ATP: What's the story behind the band?
Notimefor: Our band's story is quite non dissimilar to most band's stories haha, basically Notimefor was the fruit of teenage anger, boredom and frustration with the world! We have always listened to a lot of music while growing up, so making the step up to form a band was very natural. I won't bore you with our life-story but these are some significant dates for NTF:
2006 - Notimefor came out of the womb.
2008 - We recorded a lot of material, enough for an album.
2009 - "Dress Up To Get Down" was released.
The next and last two years we have been touring a lot around Europe hitting Italy, France, Austria, Czech Republic, Russia, Ukraine, Sweden and Germany etc. In May this year we released our new EP 'Happy Youth'. Check it out.

ATP: Single highlight as a band so far?
Notimefor: I would have to say that the last European tour we did last September was just awesome in general. We hit places we had never been to before and a lot of people came out to party with us! What else do you want?

ATP: What are your plans for the 12 months?
Notimefor: NTF has big plans for the future, we pretty much just want to tour as much as possible, make a lot of new friends on the road, party every single night! and somehow find time to write our next record and release it. We're a simple bunch of dudes, we are content with very little, we don't dream of becoming mega rich superstars but we just want to grow as a band and reach the point where we can happily tour most of the year. We would be happy living poor but happy, or even better poor but rich of memories inside!
