Alter The Press! Presents: Escape Directors
Originally starting as a backing band for singer-songwriter Steve Carter. He quickly connected with Nick Wilson (piano/guitars), drummer Colin Rieser and bassist Brendon Bigley and eventually led to the quartet forming Escape Directors; a New Jersey indie rock band. Their latest EP, 'The Crowded Room' is a well-crafted collection of warming harmonies and saw the band work with producer Jim Wirt (Incubus, Jack's Mannequin). From the calm yet pleasing tone of 'The War Outside' to the inspirational sound of 'The Distant Past', Escape Directors provide a sensible and sincere sound that will interest Death Cab For Cutie and Coldplay fans.
On the whole, Escape Directors bring a mature and honest approach to the indie rock genre that is finely-tuned and uplifting.
For Fans Of: Coldplay, Death Cab For Cutie, and Radiohead.
