Aiden have denied rumours that the band are about to split up.The band posted the following on their MySpace:
"Aiden is very much alive and NOT broken up. Yes we have been taking some time off. We have been spending our days with family and friends at home in a completely different environment from the world we have grown accustomed to living in over last few years. In fact we are on the cusp of recording our next full length, due out early 2011 on Victory records. Get Ready!"

Aiden Postpone UK/Europe Tour
Aiden have postponed their forthcoming UK/Europe tour till December.Front man, WiL Francis made the following statement:
"I recently posted that we were still coming overseas to do this tour. I guess I jumped the gun. Once Saosin pulled out of the tour a few of the promoters weren't to keen on having to pull the tickets in, refund them all, then issue new ones. That coupled with some of the shows having to change venues and us trying to find a new mode of transportation, the logistics of trying to pull all of this off in 3 weeks is nearly impossible.
It's unfair to the fans to have us show up and play some half assed shows that aren't done properly. We are NOT canceling the tour; we are just pushing it back to December. That way we can build a good package with great bands and have the tour be worth your money.
I know it's hard for everyone out there right now. The economy has everything twisted in knots. It's very hard to be in a band (Unless you're Metallica) and provide for a family at the same time. Believe me, all we want to do is come to your town and rock, and that is what we will do.
So in the mean time, instead of sitting around with our thumbs in our asses we have decided to make a new studio album. It's been over a year and a half since we recorded knives, we already have some killer new songs and feel it's time for a new adventure."
Saosin Pull Out Of Aiden UK Tour
Saosin have cancelled their forthcoming UK dates with Aiden.The band made the following statement:
"We've decided to cancel our dates with aiden in europe this april-may. To be honest, were super bummed, the last time we were in the UK was 2007 with alexisonfire and those shows were awesome. But its just not the right time for us to be over there. I wish I had some elaborate story about members losing limbs while shark diving, but the truth of the matter is, we didn't get a record released In the UK and europe was a lackluster one at best. This is the reality of the times I suppose, downloading, bad business models, and the economy etc. Its all too blame, but the bottom line is, it costs a lot to tour, esepecially overseas, and its never been more important then now, to make sure as a band, that we are touring intelligently and not just because. We hope no one is super mad at us, and promise that once we get a home figured out for the record, we will. Be back and ready to give you the SAOSIN you expect Cheers friends and again, we apologize and hope you understand the circumstances."
