ATP! Behind The Scenes: Stacie Sater

We recently sat down with Stacie Sater, a pop music publicist who works with some pretty cool names in the industry, like The Veronicas and Tiffany Houghton.

Sater dished on the best part of her job and what it takes to make it in the industry.

How would you describe your job to people that are totally clueless about the music industry?

My day-to-day work is never the same, which is most of the reason why I love it. It keeps me on my toes and I never have the same day twice. But, in general, I work with artists and managers and labels in helping their artists amplify what they have going on. I have to understand the artist and what they’re doing and where they want to go, and then I help them get that message out.

For our latest behind the scenes feature, we spoke to Andrew Weiss (most notably known for being Paramore's "Tour Mangler").

Weiss spoke to ATP! about: how he got into tour management, the highs and lows of the job, having to deal with superfans on a daily basis and more.
