You Me At Six Announce Support Bands For Wembley Arena Show

You Me At Six have announced that We Are The Ocean and Deaf Havana will open for the band at their upcoming show at Wembley Arena in London, England on Saturday, December 8th.

Deaf Havana Drop Off There For Tomorrow Fall Tour

Deaf Havana have been forced to drop off There For Tomorrow's upcoming tour. A statement from the band can be read below.

"Obviously we were meant to head over to America to tour with There For Tomorrow next week, which we were all looking forward to, but unfortunately, the length of time it takes to get our VISA application processed has made it impossible for the tour to work out for us. As a band we cannot risk going over to the US without the correct paperwork and in turn risk a long term ban which can be up to ten years, it just wasn’t financially viable for us to book flights without the correct and proper paperwork in place.

We are definitely going to be aiming to get back to the U.S soon and for the mean time thanks for the support, make sure you go and catch a show as all the bands are amazing and There For Tomorrow are the nicest dudes, it just wasn’t meant to be this time round."

Live Review: Architects (UK) + Deaf Havana - HMV Forum, London (12/16/11)

Tonight, inside London’s HMV Forum there was a heightened sense of anticipation from the crowd, who were not only about to witness Architects biggest ever headline show, but were about to see the first headline tour off the back of the Brighton five-piece’s most recent release ‘The Here And Now’. The album may have split the Architects fan-base somewhat, but with the crowd filling the venue to near capacity, it seems the band have far from lost the hardcore fan-base, and from tonight’s performance they put all questions of their new direction to rest.

Album Review: Deaf Havana - Fools And Worthless Liars

It’s been a long time since we heard much from Deaf Havana, possibly the finest thing to come out of East Anglia since Alan Partridge. Things have changed too, since they rocked up with ‘Meet Me Half Way at Least’. James Veck-Gilodi has taken over full singing duties, and the raw post-hardcore sound (read: screaming) has been replaced by an emphasis on out-and-out rock.

A lot has been made of this departure, but the transition is smoothed by the fact Veck-Gilodi is a fantastic vocalist, with a large enough range to sound like two different singers at various points on their new album ‘Fools And Worthless Liars’. He may seem like a reluctant frontman, and his battle with writer’s block for this album is well-documented, but to say that he and Deaf Havana have nailed it may just be an understatement.

ATP! Acoustic Session: Deaf Havana

Prior to their recent intimate show at the Camden Barfly in London, England, Alter The Press recorded an acoustic session with Norfolk's own, Deaf Havana.

Frontman James Amadeus Veck-Gilod performed the track, 'I'm A Bore, Mostly', taken from the band's new album, 'Fools and Worthless Liars'.
