Anarbor Recruit Dave Melillo On Guitar
Anarbor have announced that Dave Melillo has joined the band on guitar.Melillo made the following statement:
"So, one night I was watching the Mission Impossible Quadrilogy and enjoying a night cap when Mike from Anarbor hit me up asking if I’d be interested in playing guitar for them. My immediate response was a resounding: “hell yes sir”. My history with the band goes back to the days before Slade picked up bass duties for the band … We were introduced to each other by a mutual homie and I always admired the music created by these dudes. I happily volunteered to make an appearance during Anarbor’s set on the Take Action Tour back in 09 and I’m super mega extra stoked to be able to join them on stage again over the next couple months. Looking forward to seeing y’all at the rock concerts, dave"
Escape The Fate Bassist Rejoins The Band + Recruit New Guitarist
Escape The Fate have announced that bassist Max Green has rejoined the band.
Guitarist Kevin Thrasher will also be replacing Monte Money, who is taking a break from touring.
The band have made the following statement:
"Escape The Fate welcomes back bassist Max Green into the band’s touring fold along with new guitarist Kevin Thrasher, substituting for Monte Money, who has decided to step away from life on the road for now. The two join singer Craig Mabbitt and drummer Robert Ortiz to fill out the group.
Green, who took the first half of 2011 to get healthy and recover from addiction says, “I’m feeling great and am glad to be back with my band. Escape The Fate is my life. This is where I belong.” Thrasher, who previously toured for years with Love Hate Hero, is excited to hit the road Escape The Fate. Although Money will still be a creative force in the band, Thrasher has taken over lead guitar touring duties. Known for his shredding, powerful playing, he is an enthralling addition."

A Day To Remember have announced that original guitarist Tom Denney has officially left the band and has been replaced by former Four Letter Lie guitarist Kevin Skaff. Click read more for a statement from the band."Everyone,
To some of you this may come as a complete shock, and to others it will be nothing more than old news. However, we felt that what we're about to tell you shouldn't be left unsaid.
Anyone who came out to see A Day To Remember on our last European tour, or the majority of our tour with The Devil Wears Prada probably noticed that something was different.
Tom wasn't with us on our tour in Europe due to a broken wrist, and then was unable to complete the The Devil Wears Prada tour because it hadn't completely healed. Kevin Skaff (formerly of Four Letter Lie) filled in on both tours for us while Tom was healing up at home.
Here's the real juice...before Tom's injuries forced him to leave the Prada tour, it was known that Tom was looking to settle down, focus on his recording studio, get married, and prepare to start a family sometime soon. When it was decided that Tom was leaving the tour due to his injuries, we also discussed his passion to continue being in the band.
He told us he no longer had the drive to tour anymore. We all knew that he was genuinely over it, and we all collectively decided that it was best for him to just not be with us anymore. We flew Kevin back out a day later to fill in for the remainder of the tour.
At the end of the tour we all discussed what we were going to do about a new guitarist, and decided that Kevin was the man. He's an amazing guitarist, an incredible singer, and fits perfectly into what we're trying to do. His personality meshes so well with the rest of the band. We've become best friends with him in the short time he's been with us, and everyone that's seen him with us knows that our set doesn't suffer due to the change.
I know it's going to be hard for everyone to believe that Tom just left the band and that all of us were supportive about it.. Hell, I don't believe other bands that say the same exact thing. This was genuinely a mutual move for Tom and A Day To Remember. There is no point in rumors starting due to this formal announcement, because there is no truth to anything other than Tom was done touring and we were ok with that.
There are no bad feelings. Actually, we all just went to Tom's wedding last week. It was awesome, and we could all tell how excited he is. We're stoked for him, and he's stoked for us. The band is tighter then we've ever been. Tom is still going to be a big part in the writing process, and will remain so as long as we are a band. The music and sound won't change, just the person playing it.
We all hope that as fans of the band you can respect Tom and the rest of our decision. I spent almost 6 years in a band with Tom, so I assure you that seeing him go wasn't easy or the way I envisioned things from the start. We just hope that you all will be able to accept this change and move forward with A Day To Remember.
Tom wanted to make sure this was added. "I am still very close with everyone in the band. I am so excited for what the guys are going to do with Kevin. He is a great musician and I wouldn't have had it any other way. I'm excited on what material we all can create when it comes time to write a new record."

Bleeding Through Recruit No Use For A Name Guitarist
Bleeding Through have recruited Dave Nassie of No Use for a Name. The band made the following statement:"Our good friend Dave Nassie -- who many of you will recognize not only from No Use For A Name, Infectious Grooves and a brief stint with Suicidal Tendencies but from Brandan's side project, The Innocent, as well -- has joined Bleeding Through on guitar.
Jona Weinhofen, who joined Bleeding Through two years ago, told us during our North American headliner that he would be leaving the band. As he put it, while he enjoyed his time with us, he missed Australia and of course our well documented financial struggles last year due to Trustkill Records lack of timely commitment to their contractual obligations (which continue; they are 90 days late on royalties) all led to his decision."
Me Vs Hero Announce New Guitarist
Preston Pop-Punk band Me Vs Hero have announced a new guitarist. His name is Ross and the band posted the following blog on myspace: "Hey kids!
It's October 1st, so as promised we're stoked to introduce Ross who will be completing our string section!Ross is a great friend of ours who we've known and played in bands with for many years. Obviously we can never replace Alex, but he wouldn't want us to stop and this feels like the right choice in the circumstances. We think that Ross is the guy who Alex would have picked for the job. Massive props to everyone else who offered to fill in.
We're in the process of recording two sweet new tracks so watch this space for updates!

Darkest Hour Find New Guitarist
Darkest Hour have recruited new guitarist, Mike "Lonestar" Carrigan to takeover for recently departed Kris Norris. The band plans to hit the studio in November to record a new album.
