Anarbor Part Ways With Guitarist Adam Juwig

Juwig released the following statement:
" So, some of you might have been wondering if I had fallen off the face of the world or not. About two months ago, I made the decision to leave Anarbor and go back to school full time and live a normal life. It was a very hard decision to make and wasn’t a spontaneous decision. The whole time we had been touring, I had always had a yearning to go back to school and get my degree. After the “Do America” Tour, we had the longest break at home that we’ve had since we first began touring. Over the past few months, I was reminded of how much I loved being home and living a normal life. Being away from home for 8 to 10 months out of the year is just something that doesn’t interest me anymore.
Don’t get me wrong, I loved touring and playing shows everyday with my best friends, just being gone so much and not having stability can get a little irritating. The memories I’ve made over the past 9 years of being in Anarbor will be things I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life. There’s no bad blood between me or any of the guys. I still hang out with the guys all the time, and our friendship is the most important thing. I still play guitar and write songs of my own, maybe they’ll get recorded one day. Make sure to go check out the guys on the upcoming “end of the world” tour, the guys are gonna kill it! I’d like to thank everyone at Hopeless Records, Justin and everyone at The Agency Group, David McKay, Mike Green, Danny Rukasin, Brandon Goodman and everyone else at The Working Group Management. A HUGE thank you goes out to all the fans out there, you guys are the reason why the band can continue to stay on the road and making records. I’ll never forget anything about this journey, thank you all!"
Comeback Kid Part Ways With Guitarist Casey Hjelmberg

The band made the following statement:
"We very unfortunately have to announce that our friend and guitar player Casey Hjelmberg has decided to leave Comeback Kid. The split is completely amicable and we’re thankful to have spent as much time with him over the past few years as we have. He let us know early last year that it was time to move on with his life, and we’re sorry to see him go.
Casey has been in Comeback Kid since our original vocalist Scott left in 2006 and Andrew took over vocal duties. He has been a true friend to us all and huge part of why we’ve been able to keep at this for as long as we have. We wish him all the luck in the world and we’re sure he’ll be just fine. In the meantime, our friend Stu Ross will be filling in on guitar. Stu has been on tour with us a bunch with both Misery Signals and Living with Lions. We’re not going to miss a step and we look forward to seeing everyone on tour in 2012.
Our sincere thanks and love go out to Casey. We can’t wait for the year to come and we hope everyone is as excited as we are."

Emery Guitarist/Vocalist Announces Departure

Shelton said:
"Hey everyone, Devin here. I just wanted to let you all know that I am taking an indefinite hiatus from Emery. This has been a very tough decision for me, since Emery has been an important part of my life for over a decade. I'm not saying I will never do anything else with Emery, but things change and life goes on, no matter how much I will miss it. Thanks so much for all your support over the years and I hope everyone continues to follow Emery all the same."
The rest of Emery posted the following message:
"Josh, Dave, Matt, and Toby would like to thank Devin for being one of the greatest guys we have ever met. He is and always will be one of our best friends. That will never change. We miss him already. Also, we definitely hope to work with Devin again in the future so keep your eyes open."
Eyes Set To Kill Part Ways with Guitarist

The band released the following message:
"We have recently parted ways with Greg Kerwin so that he may pursue a different lifestyle outside of the music world. Although he has been an important part of Eyes Set to Kill for three years, I have been, and will remain the sole songwriter for the group. I can't wait for the ESTK fans to hear the new music that we have been working on! We wish Greg the best of luck while he finds he way, and we apologize to the fans, our friends and families for yet another departure from the group. It has been six crazy years, but I am so happy that the core and true heart of the band still remains. :)"
Senses Fail Announce US Tour and Guitarist Departure

In additional news, guitarist Garrett Zablocki has left the band
Singer Buddy Nielsen gave the following statement:
“Unfortunately Garrett has decided to leave Senses Fail after almost ten years. We are sad to see him go but wish him luck in whatever he plans to do in the future. We will of course continue on as a band touring and making music. We are excited to say that Matt Smith from Strike Anywhere will be stepping up to fill Garrett’s role and we’re very excited to start working on new music as soon as possible.”
Garrett Zablocki issued the following statement:
“After nearly a decade of being a founder and member of Senses Fail, I've decided leave the band to attend college full time. I will still be playing music on the side, but I will no longer be doing it full time. I never thought playing guitar and writing songs in my basement would bring us to stages around the world, five albums recorded and experiences that I wouldn't have had otherwise. The stories I can tell over a beer with a friend are endless because of what we accomplished through the years. I wish Buddy, Dan (Trapp) and Jason (Black) the best of luck as they continue Senses Fail on into the future."

Rufio Announce Guitarist Departure

Domae released the following message:
"To all the Rufio fans to come and go over the many years, I would like to take this time to announce my formal departure from the band Rufio, which has been and always will be an important part of my life. As one of the original members, joining my junior year of high school, it is an extremely difficult decision for me to make which I have been struggling with for some time. I have been very fortunate to be involved in such a musically inclined foursome with some of my closest friends, especially with the recent line up changes. My reasons for this withdrawal are completely unrelated to my relationship with Rufio, which will always be in good standing, like I mentioned earlier, its something I’ve been struggling with for quite some time. I would like to venture on to different projects and embark on new chapters of my life. Hopefully leaving this band will give me the opportunity and allow me to step out of my comfort zone and excel in other things. I can’t begin to express my gratitude for such life changing experiences, which would not have been possible without Rufio and all of the great people who have supported us. Thank you to all the fans and to everyone who rep’d us and made the last ten years of my life so memorable and great.
I wish Rufio a long life of constant progression and great songwrting…..
-Clark Domae"
Lydia Guitarist Announces Departure

McGraw stated:
"It is from a place of deep regret and rue I write these words, awash in disbelief and distant reflection, but friends, I must announce my immediate departure from Lydia. Do not fret! Lydia is still coming to a town near you, and I am knee deep in completing my new band’s debut LP. Irreconcilable differences between myself and remaining original members have resulted in thick tension at rehearsals. It was finally too small for the both of us, and someone had to go. I will miss performing these songs one more time in every city but ultimately my departure from the tour is the best for all involved, including you fans. There is not a show nor record nor demo nor chat with a fan I do not look back upon with only the fondest of memories, our fans truly are unique and I will continue to deliver the ear candy, always, forever and most importantly, VERY SOON. Until then, take care, go see Lydia, and keep your ears to the stars for signs of where I’ll be next.
“On the Eighth Ring of Saturn the Evil in your Hands will be Weighed against the Intentions of your Heart. You should only be so lucky to leave The Codone Universe, lest you be Doomed to Float all Time.”
