Album Review: Next Stop Atlanta - Next Stop Atlanta
On face value Preston's Next Stop Atlanta could be written off as another Paramore wannabe group. Admittedly they have all the credentials to be called that, catchy pop-punk numbers with a red-haired front woman. However this short, self-titled EP holds a lot of promise for the four-piece. 'I'll Catch Fire' sets the tone rather favourably with a good structure and overall tight performance, whilst Georgia's vocals are pulled off brilliantly. 'Fourteennineeightyseven' continues the bands feel-good momentum, with a bright hooky chorus that sees the band subtly bringing a harder sound whilst equally balancing out between pop and rock. In addition the mix of melodies in the middle are also impressive.

Today Preston's Next Stop Atlanta release their self-titled EP and sees the quartet work with producer Matty O'Grady (You Me At Six). 'Next Stop Atlanta' is four songs packed with feel-good pop-rock energy, which showcases the bands talents at their very best. Alter The Press! recently caught up with the band to give us a brief track by track guide to the EP.
I'll Catch Fire
The opening track on the EP is the debut single (released Nov 22nd). The music video for the song can be seen on Alter the Press and Youtube, and goes to the music channels in the next couple of weeks. The song is about leaving the people and situations that hold you back in life. Also finding the belief within yourself to move onward.
