With The Punches Cancel UK Tour Due To Scheduling + Line-Up Changes

With The Punches have canceled their upcoming January UK tour due to scheduling and line-up changes.

The band have released the following statement:

"Dear UK Friends,

It seems bitter sweet but we are proud to announce we will be Releasing our debute full length record in the US on Doghouse records. Unfortunately because of schedule and line up changes in the band we are now going to be unable to tour in the UK come January 2012. We hope that you will understand that this only in the benefit of writing the best record we possibly can and we TRUELY wish we could make this possible as first planned.

2012 will bring a lot of amazing things for us and we plan to make up these tours to you this year with a brand new and stronger family backing us.

We are sincerely sorry for the second time and we hope that you all can understand that this will only make us stronger and more available next year for the UK.

Me Vs Hero will be replacing With The Punches on the Macbeth stage at this Saturday's Slam Dunk North Festival in Leeds.

With The Punches Post Statement About Cancelled UK Tour

With The Punches have posted two statements regarding the news yesterday about the band being denied entry into the UK.

The band said first:

"To anyone who hasn't heard, we unfortunately had to cancel our UK tour due to immigration not allowing us in the country. We are extremely sorry and apologize to everyone who was planning on coming out. No one is more bummed out on this than us. We love you all and deeply appreciate the continued support!

Whilst a second statement said:

"Sunday night the five of us boarded a plane to the UK excited for our first international tour, playing slam dunk, and finally getting to meet all of the cool UK kids who we’ve talked to via the internet in the last few years. We got there, headed for customs, got pulled aside, detained for several hours then put back on a plane and sent back home to NY. Tour cancelled, hearts broken, and sleep patterns destroyed. I’m not bitching, just wanted everyone to know how much this sucks for us to not get to play these shows for you guys. We’ll be back, and we’ll actually make it out of the airport next time. Sorry."

Hang Tight Records have made With The Punches' latest release, 'It's Not the End of the World' and their debut EP, 'Keep It Going' available to pre-order on vinyl.

'It's Not the End of the World' will be released on clear and red splatter vinyl (limited to 90) and red vinyl (limited to 390.) Whilst 'Keep It Going' will be available on translucent blue and White splatter vinyl (90) and white vinyl (390.)
