Pentimento Robbed In The UK

Pentimento have been victims of theft on their current tour of the United Kingdom.

The band posted the following message on Facebook:

"Long story short, we had our van broken into, GPS stolen, and had our tour manager get robbed on his way to buy another GPS. We didn't think we were going to be able to make it to Sheffield tonight, but with the help of some lovelies at the auto-glass place & insurance company, we're back on the road. We'll be a little late, but we'll be there nonetheless. See you at The Riverside."

Skrillex Robbed

Skrillex was robbed recently, resulting in the loss of laptops and hard-drives, one of which contained his next album.

A Skylit Drive Robbed in New York

A Skylit Drive were robbed in Buffalo, New York. The band were playing at the Xtreme Wheels Skate Park.

The Young Veins Robbed

The Young Veins were robbed of their van, trailer and all of their gear the other night.

Person L's Kenny Vasoli Robbed in New York

Over the weekend Person L's Kenny Vasoli had several pieces of equipment stolen in New York.

Vasoli posted the following statement:

"Hello Friends, I’m looking for your help. This past Friday (8/6), after playing a show at Bowery Electric in NYC, my car’s window was busted out and both of my electric guitars and all of my pedals were stolen. My car was parked on E 2nd St and 1st ave. I know its a long shot but I am asking the public for help. Here is a full description of what was taken:

-Fender Classic Jazzmaster s#-MZ8043253 (black body w/ brown shell pickguard) in a black hardshell case. This one also had a buzz-stop installed and was wearing a white strap that has a flower patch stitch on it (that strap was screwed on tight with washers so chances are it still has it on)

-Fender Telecaster Deluxe s#-MZ6009753 -Mexican Reissue (brown body w/ black pickguard) in a tweed hardshell case. This one had a small sticker of a blurry black and white photo underneath the bridge (could easily be taken off.) Was wearing a white strap with white DiMarzio Cliploks (the female clips wear also screwed on like a motherfucker so will most likely still have them)

-Pedaltrain pedal board in a beat up black pedal case with lots of tape around the handle.

-Electro-Harmonix Classic USA Big Muff PI Distortion pedal

-Line 6 DL-4 delay pedal

-Boss TU-2 Chromatic Tuner Pedal

Trash Talk Robbed In Birmingham

Trash Talk had equipment and money stolen after their show in Birmingham earlier this week.

Message from band:

Last night in Birmingham after our show with Set Your Goals, Broadway Calls and Fireworks we kinda got robbed. On the walk from the venue to the van our merch guy, Shaun, got his bag snatched containing his laptop, journal, and all of our tour cash. Whoever grabbed it is going to be high for weeks, so smoke one for us yo.

Classics of Love Robbed In Southampton

Classics of Love were the unfortunate victims of a theft at their show in Southampton, on May 6 when a guitar was apparently stolen from them.

Messege from the band:

"Last night we lost a guitar and believe it was stolen. Obviously we are hoping it was something more innocent but you know how it goes. If you happen to have been to the Southhampton gig at Talking Heads and know anything about this give us a shout so we can try to work it out. If you stole it and give it back we will take it without any recriminations. This is obviously a ridiculous long-shot, but what the hell."

The Gaslight Anthem cancel show due to robbery

The Gaslight Anthem cancelled their show at the Helsinki's Tavastia last night due to a robbery.

The band had their van broken into the previous night in Gothenburg. Drummer Benny had put out a statement on the bands MySpace:

'Crap! No Helsinki show. We were robbed the night after our Gothenburg show at a local hotel. Gunnar and I woke up to three windows smashed out and the back door shredded from prying. Luckily, nothing very valuable was taken, but, we had to get reports from Swedish police who were slow as fuck, and missed our ferry by minutes! We literally raced down the highways, freezing cold, for five hours and parked to watch it pull away. We're super bummed. We were all really looking forward to this show and pissed that this happened. We're sincerely sorry this happened. But, I guess this one was out of our reach. We'll keep you posted on any happening/reschedules involved with the show.'
