Brand New Announce US Tour

Brand New have announced details of a US tour in support of their fourth studio album 'Daisy' with support to come from Glassjaw, Manchester Orchestra and Thrice on selected dates.

The tour will start out from October and will finish up with a hometown show in New York.

The Gaslight Anthem Announce New Single

The Gaslight Anthem have announced details of their next single.

The band will release the title track 'The '59 Sound' on June 15th which will be available via download, 7” and CD.

The B-sides include the bands cover version of ‘State of Love and Trust’ by Pearl Jam and ‘We Came to Dance’ taken from band’s first album 'Sink Or Swim'.

Reel Big Fish Announce Cover Album Details

Reel Big Fish have announced that they will release a Covers album called "Fame, Fortune, and Fornication" on January 20th.

A Press Release stated:

"OC'S original skanking pranksters Reel Big Fish have finished mixing and mastering the tracks that will make up their new album, a 10 song serving of high-energy covers which they've dubbed, Fame, Fortune and Fornication

The release is set to include the band's signature ska take on such classics as Poison's "Talk Dirty To Me", Tom Petty's "I Won't Back Down", John Mellencamp's "Authority Song", and The Eagles "The Long Run." For good measure, Reel Big Fish pay tribute to their early ska/reggae forefather's with versions of Desmond Dekker's "Keep A Cool Head" and Toots and The Maytals "Monkey Man."

The album (which will also be available in limited special edition vinyl) was produced by front man Aaron Barret and recorded at Music Inc. Studios in Orange, CA.

Set to drop on January 20, 2009 via Rock Ridge Music, the release of Fame, Fortune and Fornication will coincide with the launch of a major world tour with Streetlight Manifesto and up-and-comer's One Pin Short and Tip The Van. The trek will take the band across the US and over to the UK, Europe and Russia. Later this month Reel Big Fish heads over to Latin American for a string of shows in Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Mexico."
