The Honeymoon Suite Cancel EP Launch Party
The Honeymoon Suite have unfortunatly had to cancel their EP launch party, due an injury in the band.Full details can be read by clicking read more.We seem to be having nothing but setbacks at the moment!
About 6 weeks ago now, Scott broke his hand which forced us out of action on the live circuit for a while, and as a result we had to cancel some shows. Now, he's about a week away from full fitness and Jonny has fractured his elbow.
This means (this is killing me to write) we're gonna have to cancel our EP launch party on the 1st of July at Moho (although we're currently trying to sort out something special to take it's place). All of our other upcoming shows are also cancelled, except the Satan's Hollow LAB Showcase show, which we will now be playing acoustic.
We're so sorry about this, but we promise we'll set up something crazy-insane-mega-awesome when we're back up to full strength.
Any chance of putting a smile on our faces?

Album Review: The Honeymoon Suite - Calm Your Little Passions
The Honeymoon Suite are one of the best up and coming bands within the British pop-punk scene at the moment and their new release, ‘Calm Your Little Passions’ are 3 reasons backing up this statement.‘The New Low’ starts off proceedings with punching drums, rocking guitars and soaring, strong vocals from David Moloney. It proves to be a winning combination and full of positive energy.
This continues with the title track, ‘Calm Your Little Passions’, where the blend of vocal harmonies and catchy chorus stands out to be the tracks strongest characteristics with bands tight yet fierce playing holding the track together well.
‘I Wish I Wished You Will’ rapidly brings the EP to a conclusion with a mix of calming guitars and a steady beat before storming off with big guitars and a chorus that will more than likely, be stuck in your head for awhile.
The Manchester 5-piece have written 3 songs that leave you desperately wanting more, as they are filled with energy, fun and passion. It is a winning recipe and they certainly have the pop-punk formula down to a tee. Overall they have the talent and the songs to definitely go on to greater things and this release shows that anything is possible for The Honeymoon Suite.

The Honeymoon Suite have they will release their new 'Calm Your Little Passions' on the 18th of May throught LAB Records.The Honeymoon Suite Comment on Manchester Promoters Quitting
Matt from The Honeymoon Suite has posted a blog on the bands myspace about the recent announcement that Manchester-based promoters Mutiny are to call it a day.Matt said:
"People aren't going to concerts anymore, unless its a band that have been pushed to fuck in Kerrang! or something, no one is interested, despite the incredibly low ticket prices. Most people are content to just sit at home and check the band out on Myspace, and while it feels amazing to look at your player while it wheels up like 4000 plays a day or whatever, it doesn't bring in any money. No-one sells CD's anymore, the only way bands can afford to sustain themselves and justify trying to do what they love is by merch sales and playing shows to the people who love them. So you downloaded someones album for free, and you love it, but when they come to town only about 10% of the people who are into it bother going to see them. If this mentality sticks around in music, you won't be getting a 2nd album by most of these bands and they'll have had a blast while it lasted but inevitably have to go to a career in a call centre or some bullshit until they're 65. Go listen to A Crowd Of Full Pockets on our page, that's about exactly this kind of thing."

Angel Ibarra of Aiden to play 3 UK dates
Angel Ibarra (guitarist of Aiden) is set to make his first trip to UK solo with support to come from The Honeymoon Suite.Ibarra put out the following statement:
'Yes thats right.. you asked .. and now you shall recieve.. on March 4th i will be boarding a plane out of my beautiful seattle and heading to your beautiful London.. On Thursday March 5th i will be playing at the Underworld in Camden.. then the next night Friday the 6th of march i will be playing at the barfly in Birmingham , and the day after that Saturday March 7th i will be playing at the manchester club academy.... three nights 3 shows .. come see me please .. it means so much to me to be coming back to your country on my own .. and i hope that all of you will come out and say hello ...

The Honeymoon Suite are set to enter Stakeout Studios in London on the 28th February, to record their new record 'Calm Your Little Passions.' The band are aiming to release the four track EP in May on LAB Records.
