Vans Off The Well Line-Up Announced

The line-up for the Vans Off The Wall night at Manchester Academy on October 23rd has been announced. The line-up consists of Against Me!, Fucked Up, Dead Swans, Sylosis, Not Advised, Canterbury, Fenix TX, Out Of Sight, Failsafe and Tek One (DJ Set).

ATP! Acoustic Session: Out Of Sight

Currently on tour in support of their debut album, 'Where Do We Go From Here?', the UK pop-punk four-piece, Out Of Sight, recorded an acoustic session, exclusively for Alter The Press!

The band performed the tracks, 'You Know What I Need', and 'Where Do We Go From Here?', both taken from their new debut album.

Album Review: Out Of Sight - Where Do We Go From Here?

Out Of Sight have built up a nice reputation in the UK over the past few years, with shows here, there and everywhere; most notably shows alongside Every Avenue, Hey Monday and appearances at the last two Slam Dunk Festivals. For some the bands debut full-length has been a longtime coming but 'Where Do We Go From Here?' is now seeing the light of day.

It quickly becomes apparent that the four-piece know how to write infectious hooks that sound bright and instantly make you feel good. Tracks like 'You Know What I Need' and 'This Is Really What Living Is Really Like' set the tempo with a lively tone, with the latter being a bouncy number with additonal group vocals that round off the track well.

Punktastic have revealed that New Found Glory, The King Blues, Four Year Strong, Set Your Goals, Rx Bandits, Every Avenue, Out of Sight and Capdown are confirmed to play this year's Slam Dunk Festival.

As previously announced, this year's event will be held on Saturday 29th May 2010 at the University of Hertfordshire & Sunday 30th May 2010 at Leeds University.

Tickets will be £25 (+ booking fee) and will be available from www.slamdunkmusic.com.
